I just realized that our China Itinerary has been revised since I last posted...
We leave on FRIDAY, MAY 7th!
Friday, May 7 - Flight to Dallas, then to LAX, then to Guilin, China (15 hrs...should be interesting)!
Saturday, May 8 - Still flying....
Sunday, May 9 - Arrive in the morning, in Guilin. We'll be staying at the Waterfall Hotel. We stayed there, when we first got Anna. It's beautiful. A gigantic waterfall falls over the side of the hotel, at 8:30 every night. It is the center of a city square, and everyone gathers to watch. In the morning, there are wonderful groups of people practicing Tai Chi. Very cool.

Monday, May 10 - Li River Tour, and move to the Dragon River Retreat. We are so excited about this hotel! It's in the middle of the countryside, near the river. You have to check out the photos! We will also be attending a night show in Yangshou.

Tuesday, May 11- Free day (bike riding through the countryside near Yangshou)
Wednesday, May 12 - Travel to Beijing. We will stay at the Raddison. Lots of sights to be seen. The hotel is fine, but the culture and history are what we're here to experience.

Sunday, May 16 - Travel to Guangzhou - where we will spend the remainder of the trip. We'll be at the China Hotel. This will be a new experience for us, as we have stayed at the legendary White Swan, in the past. But this hotel looks very nice. It has a pool, which is Anna's biggest reason for excitement. Tom and I will be spending a lot of time in government agencies, with Grace, so Anna can hang out with Tom and Kitsy in the pool...while we're gone.

Mon, May 17 – MEET AND RECEIVE GRACE MEI JOHNSON
Tues, May 18- Begin adoption procedure (registration & notary)
Wed, May 19 –Receive registration certificate and apply for passport
Thurs, May 20- Sightseeing: Yuexiu Park, Chen Clan Temple
Fri, May 21 – Sightseeing: Guangzhou Zoo
Sat, May 22 – medical exam for all children
Sun, May 23 – free day (shopping...shopping...more shopping)
Mon, May 24 – Return to clinic for medical rechecks
Tues, May 25- ACS appt (confirmed)
Wed, May 26 - Go to ACS to take oath and sign papers
Thurs, May 27 – Receive the visa in the afternoon around 6:00pm
Fri, May 28 – Leave Guangzhou and return to US
